Check out my full review @ https://www.manuelsbento.com/pressure-2026-a-terrific-ensemble-elevates-a-story-that-never-quite-earns-its-runtime/ Rating: B- PRESSURE turns the 72 hours before D-Day into a tense standoff over weather forecasts, and its ensemble makes the wait genuinely gripping — even when the film itself settles into repetition. Andrew Scott anchors it all with exceptional cont…
OK, so anyone who knows anything at all about D-Day ought to already know the outcome of this quite tautly paced drama, but that lack of jeopardy doesn't impact too much on this tale about whether/weather or not the landings should go ahead on the day selected by Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser) and Montgomery (Damian Lewis). The one thing they need to know in advance is the forecast and for that they …
