Jane Got a Gun
Jane ist mit einem der übelsten Gangster der Stadt verheiratet. Als dieser sich dazu entschließt, sich gegen seine eigene Bande zu stellen, wird er schnell zum Ziel und bei einem Angriff der ehemaligen, von dem skrupellosen Colin McCann angeführten, Kumpanen schwer verletzt. Der Ehemann schafft es trotz acht Kugeln in seinem Körper, nach Hause zurückzukehren, wo er Jane warnen kann, dass seine ehemalige Bande nun nach ihm suchen wird. Jane wird klar, dass nur sie die Familie und das Grundstück noch beschützen kann und so holt sie sich Hilfe bei ihrem alten Freund Dan Frost, einem Revolverhelden, der den Anführer der Gangster-Bande schon länger ins Auge gefasst hat. Darüber hinaus ist er heimlich in Jane verliebt und sieht so seine Chance gekommen. Jane und Dan entdecken alte Gefühle füreinander, als sie sich der Bande entgegenstellen und um ihr eigenes Überleben kämpfen.

Alle auf TMDB ansehenJane has got a gun. Great then maybe she can use it to put those of us that took the time to watch this movie out of our misery. Not a good western at all as Portman is poorly cast as Jane. Boring and slow which are bad things when watching a western. Because when done right they can be a very exciting movie expierience.
The Western genre is one that has struggled to find its own two feet to stand on in recent years. _Jane Got a Gun_ certainly does not buck that trend. Also I'm pretty sure not a single one of these Wild West folks was American. _Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product._
