Um nach der letzten Ruhestätte der Mutter zu schauen, ist Raimunda nach La Mancha gereist. Daheim liegt ihr Gatte im eigenen Blut, erstochen von der 15-jährigen Stieftochter, der er sich unsittlich genähert hatte. Als wäre die unbemerkte Entsorgung der Leiche nicht schon schwierig genug, taucht plötzlich Raimundas angeblich bei einem Brand ums Leben gekommene Mutter Irene auf und nistet sich bei ihrer zweiten Tochter Sole ein, die in ihrer kleinen Wohnung heimlich einen Friseursalon betreibt.
