Desert Hearts
Die gehemmte Vivian kommt 1959 nach Reno, um sich scheiden zu lassen. Die obligatorischen 42 Tage, die sie in Nevada verbringen muss, wohnt sie auf der Farm von Frances Parker. Dort freundet sie sich mit deren Stieftochter Cay an, ohne von deren lesbischen Neigungen zu wissen. Als auch Vivian sich immer mehr zu Cay hingezogen fühlt, gerät ihr Leben aus den Fugen.
