A Toy Story: Alles hört auf kein Kommando
Die Cowboy-Puppe Woody und sein Freund Buzz Lightyear haben sich mit den anderen Spielsachen gut im Kinderzimmer ihrer neuen Besitzerin, Bonnie, eingerichtet. Als das Mädchen aus einem Göffel (Gabel + Löffel) ein neues Spielzeug namens Forky bastelt und es ins Herz schließt, nehmen sie den ungewöhnlichen Zuwachs mit offenen Armen in ihre Mitte auf. Doch Forky sieht sich selbst eher als Abfall an und flüchtet, woraufhin Woody sich auf die Suche nach ihm macht, um ihn zurückzubringen. Auf dem Ausflug im Wohnwagen mit Bonnies Familie nimmt Woody außerdem einen unerwarteten Umweg und trifft so in einem Antiquitätenladen seine verlorene Freundin, die Schäferin Bo Peep, wieder. Und dann taucht auch noch ein Freizeitpark am Horizont auf, der das Leben der Spielzeuge zusätzlich ins Chaos stürzt.

Dang, is it dusty in here? After what was a near perfect conclusion with Toy Story 3, wasn't sure if this was really needed. I'm glad they did go through with it and although it's not exactly unpredictable, still was highly entertaining with some genuine emotions and a great finale for Woody. Not entirely necessary, but 'Toy Story 4' still produces goods worthy of being attached to the initial trilogy. Tom Hanks, I'm sounding like a broken record but..., is still tremendous as Woody, I love hearing his voice in this role.
