Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping
Der Sänger und Rapper Conner4Real ist der Inbegriff eines Superstars. Seine Fans vergöttern ihn und auch die Musikbranche liegt ihm zu Füßen. Er umgibt sich zwar permanent mit einer Entourage aus bis zu 32 Leuten, aber die sorgen immerhin dafür, dass er in jeder Situation cool rüberkommt. Doch als das neue Album des Solo-Künstlers katastrophal floppt, ist der Hype um den Popstar mit einem Mal vorbei und Conner landet in einer tiefen Krise. Um weiterhin im Musik-Business erfolgreich zu sein, greift der Rapper nun nach dem letzten Strohhalm: Er plant, seine alte Rap-Boyband „The Style Boyz“ zu reaktivieren. Perhaps for someone who is more engrained in the pop culture of the day, this would be a success. It's not that I didn't understand the references, it's just that I didn't care. _Final rating:★★ - Definitely not for me, but I sort of get the appeal._
**A fun film, but also very sensible.** The title clearly says it is a parody of 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never'. I haven't seen that, but this film was so fun.
