Super 8
Als sechs Teenager 1979 zu einer Super-8-Kamera greifen, um einen Film zu drehen, ahnen sie nicht, wie gruselig die Bilder sein werden, die die Kamera einfängt: Es ist stockfinstere Nacht. An einer abgelegenen Zugstrecke wollen die Freunde gerade ein paar Szenen drehen, als sie Zeuge eines grausamen Vorfalls werden. Ein Pickup rast auf den Gleisen direkt auf einen entgegenkommenden Zug zu und prallt frontal mit ihm zusammen. Die Stille der Nacht wird zerstört durch das ohrenbetäubende Bersten von Metall und der grellen Explosion des Benzintanks, gefolgt von einem rasenden Feuerball, aus dem sich mit roher Gewalt der entgleisende Zug seinen Weg bahnt. Fassungslos starren die Teenager auf die rauchenden Trümmer, als ein unheilvolles, mächtiges Pochen in einem der Waggons ihnen Angstschauer über den Rücken jagt. Was auch immer sich dort den Weg nach draußen bahnen will, hat mit menschlicher Kraft nichts zu tun.

Alle auf TMDB ansehenUnsuccessful children movie trying to follow the tradition of The Goonies or E.T. from overrated J.J. Abrams. Tons of money are wasted on FX trying to hide a weak story and a set of terrible dialogues supposedly coming from children that are totally overacted and annoyingly always shouting. You don't miss anything if you skip Super 8.
I kind of liked the making-a-movie-within-the-movie aspect of _Super 8_ a lot more than the chief plot with the monster and the train and the badman government and the blah blah blah. Which isn't ideal, but saying that obviously means I liked something about it. _Final rating:★★½ - Had a lot that appealed to me, didn’t quite work as a whole._
