Monster Hunter
Ein ungewöhnlicher Sandsturm transportiert die Soldatin Artemis und ihre Einheit plötzlich in eine andere Welt. Schnell muss die Truppe feststellen, dass die unbekannte Umgebung von gefährlichen Riesenmonstern beherrscht wird, denen ihre herkömmlichen Waffen nichts anhaben können. Für die Gestrandeten beginnt ein Kampf ums Überleben. Beim Versuch, in ihre Welt zurückzukommen, treffen die Soldaten auch auf den mysteriösen Hunter, der sich dank besonderer Ausrüstung und seiner außergewöhnlichen Fähigkeiten bereits wiederholt gegen die Kreaturen behauptet hat. Doch werden Artemis und Co. bald mit einer Bedrohung konfrontiert, der sie selbst mit Hunters Unterstützung nicht gewachsen scheinen.

It appears that this movie is either quite hated or quite liked. I guess it is not that surprising though given that it is based on a video game with a very strong following so if the movie is deviating from canon, and I understand that it does, it will not matter how good or bad a movie is.
