West Side Story
Zwei rivalisierende Gangs bestimmen das Straßenbild im New York der 1950er Jahre: Während die Jets mit Anführer Tony sich aus weißen Jugendlichen des Viertels zusammensetzt, sind Bernardos Sharks puerto-ricanischer Herkunft. Beide Gangs stehen sich feindlich gegenüber, doch als ausgerechnet Tony und Maria, Bernardos Schwester, ein Liebespaar werden, eskaliert die Gewalt und schon bald gibt es erste Opfer.

Good production. I liked the performers, except Ansel Elgort as the lead male, Tony, who I found to be uninteresting. I never got into the story or the songs.
