King Arthur
Im fünften Jahrhundert zerfällt das römische Reich im Zuge von Rebellionen und Völkerwanderung in seine einstweilen recht- und gesetzlosen Einzelteile. In Britannien erhält der bereits christianisierte Beuterömer und Elitesoldat Arthur den Befehl, mit seinen Rittern einen römischen Würdenträger aus der von anstürmenden Sachsen bedrohten Nordprovinz zu bergen. Die Reise gerät zur Bewährungsprobe für Mensch wie Material und weckt schließlich in schöner Frauengestalt Arthurs verschüttet geglaubte nationale Identität.

I had a lot of fun with 'King Arthur'! It has all of the ingredients of an entertaining film for me. I'm a sucker for a great score and this 2004 flick has just that, from the very first scene in fact - great way to open the movie!
