Fred Melamed (* 13. Mai 1956 in New York City) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Autor. Er absolvierte seine Schauspielausbildung am Hampshire College und an der Yale School of Drama. In Yale war er Samuel F. B. Morse College Graduate Fellow. Er war außerdem für den Irene Ryan Award nominiert, einen Preis für die vielversprechendsten Nachwuchsschauspieler der USA. Während seiner Zeit in Yale unterrichtete er am renommierten Theatercamp Stagedoor Manor.
