Biografie
Keith Jarrett ist ein US-amerikanischer Pianist und Komponist. Er begann seine Karriere bei Art Blakey und spielte später mit Charles Lloyd und Miles Davis. Seit den frühen 1970er-Jahren ist er auch als Bandleader und Solokünstler in den Bereichen Jazz, Jazz-Fusion und Klassik aktiv. Seine Improvisationen schöpfen aus der Tradition des Jazz und anderer Genres, darunter westliche Klassik, Gospel, Blues und ethnische Volksmusik. Sein 1975 erschienenes Album „The Köln Concert“ ist die meistverkaufte Klavieraufnahme aller Zeiten.
