Matthew Stephen Leinart (* 11. Mai 1983) ist ein ehemaliger US-amerikanischer Football-Quarterback, der sieben Saisons in der National Football League (NFL) spielte. Er spielte College Football für die USC Trojans, wo er als Junior die Heisman Trophy gewann und sein Team zu einer ungeschlagenen Saison führte. Leinart wurde im NFL-Draft 2006 an zehnter Stelle von den Arizona Cardinals ausgewählt und war vier Saisons lang hauptsächlich Ersatzmann für Kurt Warner. Seine letzten drei Saisons verbrachte er als Ersatzmann bei den Houston Texans und den Oakland Raiders. 2017 wurde Leinart in die College Football Hall of Fame aufgenommen.
