Mike Smith ist ein kanadischer Schauspieler und Musiker, geboren in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, und aufgewachsen in Thorburn. Er absolvierte ein Anglistikstudium an der St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. Während seiner Highschool-Zeit spielte er Eishockey für die Pictou County Weeks in der Nova Scotia Midget AAA Hockey League.
