William Joseph Baldwin ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler, Produzent und Drehbuchautor. Bekannt wurde er durch seine Hauptrollen in Filmen wie „Flatliners“ (1990), „Backdraft – Männer, die durchs Feuer gehen“ (1991), „Sliver“ (1993), „Fair Game“ (1995), „Virus“ (1999), „Double Bang“ (2001), als Johnny 13 in „Danny Phantom“ (2004–2007), in „Art Heist“ (2004), „Der Tintenfisch und der Wal“ (2005), als Senator Patrick Darling in der ABC-Dramaserie „Dirty Sexy Money“ (2007–2009) und in „Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths“ (2010). Außerdem war er regelmäßig in „Gossip Girl“ als William van der Woodsen und in „Parenthood“ als Gordon Flint zu sehen. Er ist der Bruder der Schauspieler Alec Baldwin, Stephen Baldwin und Daniel Baldwin.
