Nora Ephron (19. Mai 1941 – 26. Juni 2012) war eine US-amerikanische Filmregisseurin, Produzentin, Drehbuchautorin, Romanautorin, Journalistin, Schriftstellerin und Bloggerin. Sie war vor allem für ihre romantischen Komödien bekannt und wurde dreimal für den Oscar in der Kategorie „Bestes Originaldrehbuch“ nominiert: für „Silkwood“, „Harry und Sally“ und „Schlaflos in Seattle“. Gelegentlich schrieb sie Drehbücher zusammen mit ihrer Schwester Delia Ephron. Ihr letzter Film war „Julie & Julia“.
