This series took until near the end of season one to get ahold of me.... Once it did (get ahold of me) I was hooked! The characters are well put together (even Spock) and the stores get better and better with each new one. The only exception to this, was S02E09, which is one of the infamous 'singing' themes. The only thing strange about this series is the notion its radically different from Picard and Discovery. This series is a great relief from the altogether forgettable drama arcs in the most recent of the 2020s Star Trek series.
