The Chord to Victory
Tam Kyu Lun, a witty street kid from the 1970s, befriends the introverted Chung Shun To. They meet Peng Yat Kin, Chan Kung Yau, Yip Siu Keung, and Chan Siu Cheung, forming a close-knit group bonded by music. Discovered by music manager Hugo Leung, they form the band Winners and achieve success. However, challenges test their friendship and romantic relationships face obstacles. Kyu Lun is involved with Yeung Suet Lai, while Shun To faces difficulties with Sin Ho Yi. Money causes suspicion, straining their relationships.

TO is disappointed in love and does not concentrate in work. He proposes to HUGO to cancel the contract. Others persuade TO but are of no use. FUNG wants to facilitate SHAN and PING, she agrees to sign the divorce paper and leaves Hong Kong. 'Winners' will dissolve soon. LUN arranges to develop his career in Taiwan. YAU and CHEUNG are addicted to gambling. They lose a lot. Others lend a helping hand. 'Winners' holds a farewell concert. Meanwhile, the typhoon signal No. 8 is hoisted .........
