Baantjer returns with a ten-part series in the autumn of 2026. This time, the lead role of De Cock will be played by Thomas Acda. For those who know Acda primarily from Acda en De Munnik or as a comedian, this might take some getting used to, but according to the producers, he is exactly the right person to introduce a new generation to the famous detective.
