Sister
A family drama in which the characters' personal tragedy becomes a metaphor for a historical and political rift. Masha, 40, is a single mother living in Moscow and dependent for years on her relationship with a famous actor. Anya, 36, is happily married to Vadim, a military man, and raising a son in Odessa. On February 22, 2022, Vadim urgently sends Anya and their child to Moscow, ostensibly for their grandmother's birthday. A special military operation begins the next day. Sisters, long separated, are forced to live under the same roof. Tensions are mounting… The heroines will have to show all their strength to save their loved ones and family.

Anya and Masha, shaken by their mother's story, try to find common ground. Anya admits she fears for Vadim and is willing to risk everything to find him. Masha proposes a plan: use Roman's connections to obtain information about missing persons. Roman, touched by their unity, agrees to help. Through SBU channels, they learn that Vadim is alive, but in a war zone. The sisters decide: until they know his fate for sure, they will stick together.
