The Dead Don't Hurt - I morti non soffrono
Ambientato negli anni Sessanta del XIX secolo, Vivienne (Vicky Krieps) inizia una relazione con l'immigrato danese Holger Olsen (Viggo Mortensen). Dopo averlo conosciuto a San Francisco, Vivienne accetta di trasferirsi con lui nella sua casa vicino alla tranquilla cittadina di Elk Flats, dove iniziano una vita insieme. La guerra civile però li separa, lasciando Vivienne a cavarsela da sola in un territorio controllato dal potente proprietario di ranch Alfred Jeffries e da suo figlio Weston.

I almost warmed to it by its conclusion, but I don't think I can describe 'The Dead Don’t Hurt' as anything that I rate well. I found no interest in anything that was onscreen, disappointingly. The story failed to grab me and the characters that portray it aren't at a good standard either, in my opinion of course. Vicky Krieps does her best and is probably the movie's standout.
