Gli abitanti di Rock Ridges sono vessati da una coppia di arroganti amministratori: il giudice Hedley Lamarr e l'inetto e corrotto governatore William De Petomane. Il giudice, per speculare su alcuni terreni, non esita a modificare il tracciato della ferrovia. Ai soprusi però si oppone il nero Bart, il nuovo sceriffo, che con il suo inguaribile e contagioso ottimismo salva il paese.

'Blazing Saddles' is fairly funny. The good intentions of this 1974 satire is clear to see, naturally it can come across as a bit on the nose at times but it does lead to some amusement. Cleavon Little & Gene Wilder give good performances; always nice to see the latter.
