Durante l'occupazione nazista della Jugoslavia Marko e Blacky si arricchiscono praticando ogni genere di traffico e rifornendo di armi la Resistenza. Quando Blacky deve sparire dalla circolazione, Marko lo nasconde in una cantina dove sono rifugiati anche altri rivoltosi e diventa il loro unico tramite con l'esterno. Per non dividere con l'amico l'amore di Natalija, Marko anche dopo la liberazione continua a far credere che la guerra vada avanti.

Though this is a bit hit and miss, and I do wonder just how many editions of the BBC's "'Allo 'Allo" director Emir Kusturica had watched, this is still quite an entertaining look at the evolution of Yugoslavia from it's wartime Chetnik phase through until the dismantling of the country following the death of Tito.
