Guy Carrell, uno studioso di medicina dominato dal timore di essere sepolto vivo (tafofobia), viene temporaneamente distolto dalla sua ossessione per l’arrivo di Emily, che manifesta l’intenzione di riallacciare una relazione con Guy.
