Quel maledetto colpo al Rio Grande Express
Belinda Lowe (Ann-Margret), giovane vedova, ha due problemi: riabilitare il nome del suo defunto marito e restituire il mezzo milione di dollari in oro che lui aveva rubato e nascosto nel deserto. Perciò ingaggia Lane (Wayne), ex capitano dell'esercito nordista, con la promessa di lasciare a lui e alla sua banda la ricompensa promessa a chi recupererà il bottino. A missione compiuta, con Belinda già partita con l'oro, un agente delle assicurazioni spiega a Lane che la ragazza è un'abile truffatrice.
