Il fascino discreto della borghesia
Due coppie della borghesia parigina e la sorella di una delle due donne, che alza facilmente il gomito, insieme ad un diplomatico di Miranda, un'immaginaria repubblica delle banane, tentano di organizzare una cena che, per vari motivi, non avrà mai luogo: un'incomprensione sul giorno dell'invito, un ristorante in cui si assiste alla veglia del proprietario morto, le manovre dell'esercito nel giardino dei padroni di casa, ecc. In questo film, il sogno e la realtà formano un mélange indissolubile come vuole la tradizione surrealista, di cui Luis Buñuel è capostipite e maestro.

It's quite a difficult film to review this, as it essentially has no real plot and very little structure.
