Drammatico racconto dei devastanti effetti di un olocausto nucleare: i fatti sono introdotti da una serie di notiziari televisivi e radiofonici che, per tutta la durata del film, dipingono lo scenario bellico nel suo svolgersi. Successivamente vengono seguite più da vicino le vicende degli abitanti della città di Lawrence (Kansas) dove cadono tre dei trecento missili con testata nucleare lanciati dai Sovietici sugli USA.

Well worth the view and it's surprisingly hard-hitting, for an American movie. TDA depict the full nuclear exchange between NATO and the Warsaw-pact and how this affect the population in and around Kansas. I think TDA really works better as a pure movie, because it is.
