The Old Oak
The Old Oak è un posto speciale. Non è solo l'ultimo pub rimasto, è anche l'unico luogo pubblico in cui la gente può incontrarsi in quella che un tempo era una fiorente località mineraria e che oggi attraversa momenti molto duri, dopo 30 anni di ininterrotto declino. Il proprietario del pub, TJ Ballantyne (Dave Turner) riesce a mantenerlo a stento, e la situazione si fa ancora più precaria quando The Old Oak diventa territorio conteso dopo l'arrivo dei rifugiati siriani trasferiti nel villaggio. Stabilendo un'improbabile amicizia, TJ si lega ad una giovane siriana, Yara (Ebla Mari). Riusciranno le due comunità a trovare un modo di comunicare?
