Nuova versione dell’omonimo film del 1977 di Wes Craven, è la storia di una famiglia il cui viaggio si trasforma in un incubo quando il gruppo giunge in una zona nuclearizzata. Lontani dal mondo, i Carter si rendono presto conto che l’area apparentemente disabitata è in realtà il territorio di una famiglia di mutanti assetati di sangue... e che loro sono la preda.

Rather than ignoring its source material, or taking the other extreme of drearily rehashing it scene for scene, Aja and Levasseur's _The Hills Have Eyes_ simply expands and improves upon the original. _Final rating:★★★★ - Very strong appeal.
