Tutto su mia madre
Manuela vive da sola con suo figlio adolescente Esteban che non ha mai conosciuto suo padre. Per il compleanno di Esteban Manuela lo porta a teatro dove si sta rappresentando "Un tram chiamato desiderio". I due sono uniti dall'ammirazione per l'attrice Huma Rojo e alla fine dello spettacolo per inseguire lei Esteban viene investito da una macchina. Manuela scappa da Madrid e va a Barcellona alla ricerca del padre di Esteban, che batte i marciapiedi con il nome di Lola.

Of course, it's an Almodovar, so it's already a great film. But this one - the artistic shots, the characters, the story, the humanity - all top notch. I think this film might be his best.
