フリー・ウィリー
太平洋の小さな町。少年ジェシーは母に捨てられた孤児で、施設を度々抜け出していた。しかし、子供のできない夫婦に引き取られた彼は、その町の水族館で、母から引き離され狭い水槽にいるシャチ＝ウィリーに会い、飼育と訓練を習い、母と再会の他にも生活の意義を見出していく。躾けられたウィリーは水族館の新たな看板となるはずが、大勢の観客に戸惑い芸のできぬまま失敗。経営者は保険金目当てにウィリーを殺すことを企む……。海洋ファンタジー。

I guess Free Willy depends on how old you were in 1993. For the most part, I really like Family Friendly, if they are done right they can be entertaining and uplifting. And, the kid in me can still see how people would love it, and still love it, if they saw it as a little kid. The song by Michael Jackson was epic and I saw clips from this movie in there and it motivated me to watch this movie. But I must say I wasn't impressed. It was a feel good movie for sure, but I must say I enjoyed Dolphin Tale more. The story was slow and action sequences seemed a little far fetched like seriously breaking a 3,000kg animal out of jail!
