Biografia
Em turnê desde os 17 anos, Carrack, nascido em Sheffield, escreveu e cantou 'How Long', o clássico de 1974 de seus dias com Ace, e foi a voz de 'Tempted', de seu mandato com Squeeze. Então vieram sucessos com Mike + the Mechanics como 'The Living Years' e 'Over My Shoulder', indicado ao GRAMMY, este último co-escrito com Mike Rutherford. Sem mencionar que outra co-escrita, 'Love Will Keep Us Alive', foi tocada pelos Eagles e ganhou um prestigioso prêmio ASCAP de Canção do Ano.
