Грю, с недавних пор ставший агентом Антизлодейской лиги, способствует аресту своего давнего врага Максима Ле Маль, который после инъекции специальной сыворотки превратился в гибрид человека и таракана. Злодей почти сразу же сбегает из тюрьмы, поэтому Грю вместе с семьей попадает под программу защиты свидетелей: после смены места жительства он становится Четом, продавцом солнечных батарей. Тем временем Максим Ле Маль, вместе со своей сообщницей Валентиной возглавляющий армию тараканов, стремится во что бы то ни стало отомстить.
