Umbrella Şirketi'nin yol açtığı virüs felaketi Umbrella'nın gizli sığınaklarından Raccoon City'ye yayılmıştır. İkinci filmde alan genişliyor ve tüm şehir virüslü insanlarla doluyor. Kahramanımız Alice, Umbrella Şirketi tarafından yapılan deneyler sonucu insanüstü güçlerle donatılmıştır. Alice ile birlikte virüsten etkilenmeyen bir kısım insan da onunla birlikte mücadeleye girerler. Bu insanların arasında Umbrella'nın özel ekibi S.T.A.R.S'ın bir üyesi olan Jill Valentine ve bu ekibin lideri olan Carlos Oliveira gibi donanımlı kişiler de bulunmaktadır. Bu grup, bir yandan tüm şehre yayılmış virüslü yaratıklarla uğraşırken bir yandanda Umbrella'nın yarattığı ikinci felaket olan Nemesis ile mücadele etmek zorunda kalırlar. Bu cehennemden kurtuluşlarının tek yolu ise Umbrella'ya bağlı bilimadamı Doktor Ashford'a güvenmek ve kızını, ona sağ olarak ulaştırmaktır.

TMDB üzerinde tümünü görI'm all for dumb entertainment (Swordfish and xXx are guilty pleasures for me) but this one lacks any innovation, even for its time, not to mention some poor acting (though Jovovich was the least aggressor in the cast). My favorite out of the series. Apocalypse was my favorite game too. Trying to battle Nemesis who is this big slow very powerful zombie like creature.
