Richard Jewell
Richard Jewell, 1996 Atlanta Olimpiyatları’nda Centennial Olympic Parkı’nda yaşananlara odaklanıyor. 1996 yılında düzenlenen Yaz Olimpiyatları sırasında Centennial Olympic Parkı’nda bombalı saldırı düzenlenmiştir. Yaşanan olayların suçlusu ise Richard Jewell görülür. Güvenlik görevlisi olarak çalışan Richard Jewell, saldırı sırasında onlarca insanın hayatını kurtarsa da basında çıkan haberler onun terörist olduğunu söylemektedir. Olayın ardından hayatı tepetaklak olan Jewell’in suçsuz olduğu ise birkaç ay sonra ortaya çıkar. Gerçek suçlunun ortaya çıkması ile aklanan Richard Jewell’in hayatı ise asla eskisi gibi olmaz.

Since I couldn't have told you when the Olympics were in Atlanta, I found it worth watching. Whether there's much to the story beyond the depiction of events is an entirely different conversation.
Before talking about the movie, it can be said that "Richard Jewell" is one of those movies that proves that art does not know age. This is an excellent film from Clint Eastwood! Firstly, what a terrific performance from Paul Walter Hauser! He plays lead perfectly, as he makes it impossible not to root for the titular character - which is admittedly a given due to the plot, but Hauser adds an extra level of believability to proceedings.
