Fitzcarraldo
Takıntılı derecede bir opera sever olan Fitzcarraldo, Peru'nun küçük bir şehrinde bir opera binası inşa etmek ister. Fakat bunu başarmak için önce kauçuk işinde bir servet kazanması gerekir. Bu amaç dahilindeki planında büyük bir nehir botunu yerli Kızılderili'lerle birlikte küçük bir dağdan geçirmek vardır. Konusunu gerçek bir hikayeden alan bu film yönetmenine Cannes Film Festivali'nde en iyi yönetmen ödülünü kazandırmıştır.
