Aslında ölüm göründüğünden daha yakındır. Gönüllü olarak bir akıl hastanesi yatan Final Destination dan sağ kalan tek kişi, Ölüm'ün hayatını almaya geleceğini düşünerek hayatını sürdürmektedir. Ona deli derler ama aslında bir bakıma haklıdır. Ölüm, Route 23 otoyolunda hareket etmektedir. Arkadaşları ile hafta sonu kaçamağın a çıkan Kimberly Corman, yoldayken korkunç bir önsezi görür. Bu rüyadan korkan Kimberly, otoyola çıkan bağlantı yolunu kapatır. Sürücüler kornalarını çalarlar ve şikayete başlarlar. Ama ölüm işbaşındadır ve otoyolda çok kötü bir zincirleme trafik kazası olur. Kimberly sayesinde bağlantı yolunda kilerin hayatları kurtulur. Ama Kimberly henüz hiçbir şeyin bitmediğini bilmektedir. Ölüm bu kadar kolay aldatılamaz. Şimdi rastgele şekilde bir araya gelmiş olan bu grup, Kimberly'in bu çaresiz hayatta kalma mücadelesine katılmak zorundadırlar.

This is my least favorite out of the series. Just the main character doesn't sell her character to me in this. The death scenes were cool, but it was just an ok movie.
"Final Destination 2" sticks to the same formula as the first one, keeping the eerie atmosphere and inevitable doom at the center of its plot.
