坎塔基豪侠
伯特．兰卡斯特的导演处女作，也是日后成为喜剧红星的沃尔特．马修首部跃登银幕之作。兰卡斯特亲自演出一名坎塔基牛仔，带着他的儿子前往德州追寻新生活。在旅行的过程中，他卷入了几宗家庭纠纷之中，其中一段跟品性不端的马修对上了，还在手无寸铁的情况下遭他用皮鞭痛殴。本片的故事内容稍嫌单薄，但编导对十九世纪初期美国西部垦荒的时代精神倒也表现得不错，伯纳德．赫尔曼气势十足的配乐也发挥了烘托情绪之功。
