It reminds me of a mix between Magnum P.I., with that sunny private eye vibe, and Burn Notice, where a guy who lost his job helps out regular people while dealing with local crooks. If the leads keep hitting it off like they are now, we might even get some of that Moonlighting energy in the next few episodes.
