本剧的主人公是一个绰号为“Fleabag”的单身女子（菲比·沃勒-布里奇 饰），故事围绕着Fleabag的伦敦生活展开。她原本和最好的朋友Boo（珍妮·莱恩斯福德 饰）合伙在伦敦经营着一家咖啡厅，然而她的生活因好朋友的意外去世而发生变化。Fleabag的伦敦生活非常不如人意：和姐姐Claire（茜安·克利福德 饰）的关系疏远；爸爸选择和继母生活而忽视女儿；男朋友又一次提出分手；最让她难受的是，现在的生活看似早已恢复正常，但是昔日好朋友的身影时常闪现。往日和如今的场景相互交叠，暗涌的情绪找不到适当的宣泄口，Fleabag伦敦生活的走向会是如何……

I'd heard so much about Fleabag that I had to see what all the fuss was about. On my first attempt, I managed to get through the first episode, then abandoned the effort because it simply didn't click.
