L'uomo dell'est
La città di San Francisco è collegata a Saint Louis da un importante servizio di diligenze. Fra tutte le stazioni disseminate sul percorso quella di Rawhide è sotto la responsabilità di un vecchio caposervizio brontolone. Un giorno nel paese arriva una diligenza con a bordo Winnie, una bella ragazza accompagnata dal suo nipotino. Al momento di ripartire si sparge la voce che nella zona è stato avvistato il famigerato bandito Zimmerman che sta metidando di mettere a ferro e fuoco la città.
